Tasting Notes

Vinous Josh Raynolds - 01 Sep 14
(all old-vines tempranillo and raised in the same manner as the 2012 version): Dark purple. Dark berries, cherry pit, smoky oak and a touch of vanilla on the nose. Sappy and focused on the palate, with bright acidity giving bite and spine to the supple red and dark fruit flavors. Not a fleshy wine but impressively tangy and focused. Finishes with firm, sneaky tannins and excellent persistence.
